US Credit Card Usage vs The Rest of the World

It’s no secret that we Americans have a passion for plastic. Efficient and convenient, we use our cards for everything from paying our rent to buying that $2 cup of joe on the way to work. And while credit cards do have their advantages, they’ve gotten a bad rap over the past five years as one of the leading contributors to our national and personal debt; they are the third largest cause of household indebtedness, after mortgages and student loan debt.
