First off, I’d like to thank Dave Ramsey who showed me that finding a budget method that works for me is better than getting a raise. Second, I’d like to thank the tanking economy for showing me that nothing is guaranteed and I should never rely on a steady paycheck. Third, I’d like to thank the banks… who keep sending me letters offering to raise limits, sell me cars, and refinance everything I own with low interest and no fees. Without these constant letters, I wouldn’t get the joy of being reminded that… I’m SCARING them.

I PAID OFF MY CAR!!

2.) We’re only at 2% paid off on our credit card. If we stay on schedule… we’re looking at clearing this in July. So far… this is all you get for the pictorial example:

How much have we paid down?

$7,160.15

I’m making $13,000 less a year and… I’ve made more progress in the last four months than I have in the last four years.

And… we were also able to build three months worth of savings in the bank just in case one of us loses our job.

I have two words to express how I feel…
