Why yes I cry daily… but I save a fortune on car insurance!
I’ve totally surprised myself and stuck by my resolve to continue to use public transportation. Maybe public transportation is better in other places or maybe it’s just the route I take but… it’s definitely a rough fight I battle internally to continue to do so.
My travels take me across the worst part of San Diego… Southeast San Diego. This area is so bad, a councilman stopped all use of the term ‘Southeast San Diego’ because the area was seen negatively.
Look bud, if you decide to call a Black Widow Spider a Ladybug, I’m still going to pull out the bug spray and a big shoe.
Curious about the area? Wikipedia it. You’ll see why I carry an industrial size can of pepper spray and a taser.
I’ve been flipped off and told to F-off for not saying hello to a stranger. I’ve been asked if my ring was a wedding ring or an engagement ring because if it was ‘just an engagement ring’ the guy wanted to introduce himself.
But… aside from the bad ride… I’m saving a fortune. I’ve cut my gas bill by 70%. AND… I can reduce my insurance.
For those of you who drive less than 7,500 miles a year, you may not know that you can call your insurance company and request a low mileage rate.
Saving money and being more ‘green’ can save you a lot of green!
Monitor your gas mileage… it may be worth it!

I wish I had a trolley available to use. The gas money savings would be great!
